Open
MCP server
Connect Claude Code, Cursor, or Claude Desktop to your workspace with an API key.
rankveo is a remote Model Context Protocol server. Point an AI coding agent at it with a workspace API key and it can read your rankings, AI visibility, backlinks, PageSpeed report and cleared articles, and act on them under the same plan limits as the app.
MCP and API access are included with Premium and Max.
Create a key
- Open Settings → API keys for the website you want to connect.
- Create a key with the Full access scope. Blog keys only serve published articles and cannot be used for MCP.
- Copy the key. It is shown once.
Each key belongs to one website. To connect several websites, create a key in each.
Connect
The endpoint is https://api.rankveo.com/api/mcp. Send the key as a bearer token.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http rankveo https://api.rankveo.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer rk_your_key"
Cursor, Claude Desktop, and other clients that take a JSON config
{
"mcpServers": {
"rankveo": {
"url": "https://api.rankveo.com/api/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer rk_your_key" }
}
}
}
Web-based connectors that require OAuth, such as custom connectors on claude.ai, are not supported yet.
What the agent can do
| Tool | What it returns or does |
|---|---|
get_workspace | The website and plan the key belongs to |
get_analytics | The latest SEO, AI visibility (GEO) or backlinks snapshot |
list_keywords | Tracked keywords with current positions and ranking URLs |
list_articles, get_article | Articles cleared for publishing, as summaries or in full |
record_article_published | Records where an article was published so syncs update it |
get_content_preferences, update_content_preferences | How articles are written |
get_pagespeed | The latest PageSpeed report, or a fresh one on request |
list_prompts, run_prompt | AI visibility prompts with results, and a fresh check |
Read-only tools are free to call. run_prompt spends the monthly prompt-check quota, and the two update tools change stored settings, so a well-behaved agent confirms before using them. Analytics snapshots are refreshed at most daily by the app; every result says when it was fetched.
Limits and revocation
Requests count against the per-key rate limit of your plan. Revoke a key from Settings → API keys and the agent loses access immediately.
